Our Wedding

On March 21st 2023, Conor swiped right and asked Bridget if “Kirby (Smart) is the new Saban”…being the die hard Alabama football fan she is, this immediately peaked her interest! Their banter flowed from the start, but after many cancelled dates, Bridget let Conor know she needed more time to work physically, mentally, and spiritually on herself before her heart was fully ready to date. Not expecting to hear from Conor again, he replied with the most heart felt and genuine text that gave her a glimpse of the man he is. Bridget immediately screenshot the text and sent it to one of her best friends, Taylor, and said something along the lines of “Dang. He is a good one, but I’m doing what I need to do!”&nbsp; Seven months later, Taylor and Bridget were at dinner when the idea of dating was mentioned and Bridget expressed she was ready! With excitement, Taylor asked “What about that guy who sent you the really sweet text when you shared you weren’t ready yet?” The wheels were turning as Bridget remembered their effortless conversations shared via text, but wasn’t sure how she could reach him again…until they realized the slight chance Taylor may still have the screenshot Bridget sent her months ago that had Conor’s phone number. Good news: she had the screenshot! Sitting at dinner, unknowingly just blocks away from where Conor was living, Bridget sent him a text and asked if he would want to finally meet for that beer. On November 1st, they went on their first date to Poco Fiasco and the rest is history. As they grew closer and got to know each other’s hearts, interests, aspirations, and dreams, it became apparent that they were in deed, each other’s lobsters :)&nbsp; Over the last almost two years, Bridget and Conor have spent quality time in each others special places with their families and have gotten to share many memories with close friends.&nbsp; On July 3rd, 2025 Conor lead Bridget back to the tree at The Lodge at Sea Island where she had spent many sunsets praying for her future husband and to prepare her heart for him. It came full circle when he got on one knee and made her the happiest girl in the world! Now, they are eager to be married under the eyes of God surrounded by their loved ones and get to start their lives as husband and wife!

My sister, Britain, is 7.5 years older than me and we have a very special relationship. She has three precious children that I love more than anything. I am so grateful she can return the favor, nearly 20 years later, and be such an integral part of our special day!

TayC has been my best friend for over 15 years and we can thank our parents for introducing us! She is a mother of two precious twins, a realtor, and an incredible friend. Conor and I have such a blast going on double dates with her and her husband, Conner! I feel so blessed to have her by my side when I marry the love of my life! 

Taylor Scott

Emac is from St. Louis, MO. We became best friends and eventually roommates at The University of Alabama in 2011! Some of our favorite memories are trips together to watch the Tide win Nattys! Emac is expecting twins in February, so we will miss her and Corey being at our wedding, but know she will be exactly where she is meant to be!

Susie (AKA Shugs) is from McCallen, TX and we met during the crazy times of Covid. She has never met a stranger and to know her is to love her. We have roomed together many times for friends' weddings and have shared many fantastic memories together. I feel so fortunate to get to have her stand by my side for our day!

Margot is from Rome, GA and we met at a young age while vacationing in Sea Island over the 4th of July! We both have such a love for family and have enjoyed mother/daughter vacations and many Bailey/Wallis family meals together. She is the mother of three adorable children and I can't wait for her to return the favor and stand by my side where she got married, too!

Lauren is the wife of my brother, Billy. We have many fun memories cheering on the Crimson Tide, vacationing with my family, but the best is yet to come. Lauren just gave birth to their first child, William Ross Bailey, Jr., named after my brother! I cannot wait to spoil sweet baby William rotten!

Alexandra is Conor's younger sister! She and her husband, Davis, live in Denver, CO.  I have enjoyed getting to spend quality time with her at their family's special places. One of my favorite qualities of Conor's is his love for his family.  I have always adored he and Alexandra's relationship and phone calls to catch up!

Rebecca is from Waco, TX and we hit it off the second we met. She has a true heart of gold and we have made so many wonderful memories from trips together, wine nights, and more! She got engaged the day before me so this is a very special time for us both! I am so grateful to have her be a part of our day!

Molly lives in Charleston, SC and she and I go way back. Our friendship blossomed when we both were bridesmaids in Margot's wedding and roomed together over her bachelorette weekend. She is an online boutique owner and has one of the kindest hearts. I am so grateful for our friendship, random Facetimes, and funny banter between our men!

Cliff is my younger brother and lives with his wife, Andrea, and their newborn son, Denny, in Boston, MA. He and I were two years apart in school and had fun competing on and off the lacrosse field in high school and college. I still can’t believe how bad we lost to his team my senior year. I am honored to have my brother by my side for our wedding.

Casey is my youngest brother and is a twin to my sister. He recently moved to Jacksonville, FL where he enjoys fishing out on the beach and golfing at his nearby course. He and I have many memories golfing, grilling out, and watching Ravens football together. I couldn’t imagine taking this next step without him by my side.

James and I grew up about a mile and a half away from each other and have been best friends since we were two. After graduating college, we spent six weeks traveling across the country. He remains in Baltimore with his wife, Christina, and three kids. I am the Godfather to his youngest son, Frank. Bridget and I had a blast with he and Christina at the Ravens versus Browns game last Fall. 

James Eaton

Henry and I met in preschool and have remained close friends to this day. He and his wife, Johanna live in New Hampshire with their two children. We spent time in the summers at our parents’ lake houses water skiing, cliff jumping, and being carefree. Henry, James, and I rattle off Ravens takes often in our group text- Bridget can vouch for that, ha!

Billy is Bridget’s older brother. Since we met, we have shared fun banter about all things sports related and he has helped me get on the Alabama band wagon—even if I joined a season too late. Billy has bent over backwards to make me feel like part of the family during trips and other holiday celebrations. I couldn’t imagine marrying his sister without him by my side.

Matt is Bridget’s brother-in-law and although he is a Chiefs fan, we have become closer friends as we have spent more time together. I’m happy to have him by my side as Bridget and I take the next step in our life together and know I can count on him for a good laugh the day of.

The Cloister is on Sea Island where the beach club, spa, gym, tennis facilities and more are located. We are encouraging guests to stay at The Cloister to get the full experience and for convenience since all wedding events will take place here. Hotel room availability prior to the wedding weekend is currently limited. However, additional rooms are expected to become available as the date approaches. If you wish to stay at the hotel before the wedding, we kindly recommend checking back closer to the event for updated availability OR booking at The Lodge for Thursday and transferring it to The Cloister once rooms become available.. The Cloister

This is located about 8 minutes off the island on St. Simon’s Island and is a much lower price point. However, guests who stay here will not have access to any amenities on Sea Island, The Cloister, or The Lodge except for when attending wedding events. The Inn by Sea Island

The Lodge is located approximately 15 minutes off island on St. Simons Island and has two golf courses—The Plantation course and PGA Championship course, Seaside. There is a complimentary shuttle consistently running between The Cloister and The Lodge. Please note that we do not have a reserved room block at The Lodge; however, it is a lovely option for those planning to arrive prior to the wedding weekend.

The Cloister DiningTavola- Authentic Italian restaurant that looks out onto Black Banks Terrace and the marsh. Conor’s favorite is the Chicken Parmigiana and Caesar salad! River Bar and Grill- offers delicious classics for lunch and dinner. Bridget’s favorite is the White Bean Soup, Truffled Devilled Eggs, and Quiche. Great bar to grab an after-dinner drink, too! Georgian Rooms- offers an upscale, fine dining experience and a sushi lounge. Our family’s favorite is to sit in the round atrium for a more intimate dinner. The Chicken Fried Oysters are delicious! Southern Tide- located at The Beach Club offers ocean front dining for lunch with delicious cocktails (the Poolside is Bridget’s favorite), raw oysters, and a killer club sandwich (Conor’s go to)! The Lodge DiningOak Room- The perfect place to watch the sunset before indulging in the best martini, cornbread, salty pretzel, and steak salad. Also, this is a fabulous spot to enjoy a fresh cinnamon roll for Sunday brunch (it’s insanely good!!) Our family tends to eat here our first and last night of every trip. Colt &amp; Alison – Beautiful restaurant offering a traditional southern experience. The loaded baked potato is Bridget’s favorite and Conor enjoys the filet! *A MUST HAVE WHILE ON SEA ISLAND IS THEIR SIGNATURE GOLD BRICK SUNDAE FOR DESSERT St. Simons Island Dining (if staying at The Inn or if you want to do some exploring!) Halyards- Our favorite off island restaurant for dinner with excellent seafood and meat options. Their calamari is delicious! Delaney’s Bistro- Cute and quaint New American bistro suitable for dinner. Their baked goat cheese appetizer is yummy! Georgia Sea Grill- Great seafood and relaxed atmosphere! Brogen’s South- A SSI staple for years. Perfect for grabbing a burger or fried green tomatoes by the pier for lunch! Gnat’s Landing- Located in Redfern Village, one of our family’s favorite traditions is eating lunch here and enjoying a cold PBR and some fried pickles (with ranch!) after doing a little shopping! Bubba Garcia’s- Also located in Redfern Village, this isn’t quite Tex- Mex, but it’ll suffice! Relaxed atmosphere and fun for a marg and queso!
